Jambatan adalah satu struktur yang biasanya dibina untuk menyeberangi rintangan seperti sungai. Jika sebut pasal jambatan, pasti semua kenal dengan Jambatan Pulau Pinang. Tapi pernahkah anda dengar tentang kisah Jambatan Rukiah?
Baru-baru ini, heboh kisah seorang wanita yang dikhuatiri lemas setelah terjatuh ke dalam sungai di bawah satu jambatan ketika sedang memancing bersama ibunya, lapor Berita Harian . Pelbagai cerita didengari berkaitan dengan kes tersebut dan salah satu daripadanya adalah kisah bagaimana jambatan tersebut mendapat namanya.
Menurut perkongsian seorang pengguna Twitter bernama Paduka Nadzren, lelaki ini ada berkongsi kisah yang didengari tentang bagaimana jambatan yang terletak di Kuantan tersebut mendapat nama Jambatan Rukiah.
Difahamkan, seorang wanita dikenali sebagai Rukiah telah ditinggalkan suami dan anaknya kerana masalah yang menimpa keluarga mereka. Puas memujuk rayu dan melakukan pelbagai perkara yang terdaya, suami Rukiah masih tidak mahu kembali kepada wanita tersebut.
Tidak tahan kesunyian tanpa suami dan anak disisi, Rukiah dikatakan telah berpakat dengan ibunya untuk membuat satu perancangan supaya suami dan anak kembali kepadanya. Rukiah telah menyuruh ibu menghantarnya ke sebuah kawasan bernama Chenor untuk dia menyembunyikan diri di situ.
Ibunya pula disuruh untuk duduk menunggu di bawah sebuah jambatan di kawasan Jengka 15 sambil berlakon seperti kononnya Rukiah telah jatuh ke dalam sungai tersebut. Adik Rukiah kemudiannya mendapat tahu bahawa Rukiah telah ‘lemas’ di bawah jambatan tersebut dan segera menelefon talian kecemasan.
Dari masalah suami isteri, tiba-tiba kes Rukiah ini sudah jadi kes polis pula. Bomba, sukarelawan, Pejabat Adun, sebut sahaja nama, semuanya tampil untuk membantu operasi mencari Rukiah yang kononnya lemas tersebut. Operasi tersebut katanya mengambil masa kira-kira dua hari.
Kes Rukiah ini mendapat liputan meluas media dan sehinggakan ada yang mengucapkan takziah kepada keluarga mangsa kerana kehilangan ahli keluarga. Setelah masuk hari kedua operasi, ibu Rukiah dikhabarkan sudah tidak sanggup untuk berkomplot dengan penipuan ini kerana kasihan melihat ramai orang bertarung nyawa dalam sungai berarus deras berkenaan semata-mata untuk mencari Rukiah.
Ibu Rukiah kemudiannya terus ke balai polis untuk membuat laporan mengatakan bahawa perkara tersebut hanyalah rekaan mereka anak beranak semata-mata. Aduhai! Begitulah katanya bagaimana jambatan tersebut mendapat nama Jambatan Rukiah setelah 50 tahun siap pembinaannya.
Jika benar apa yang diceritakan oleh Nadzren ni, memang satu kampung kena tipu angkara masalah rumah tangga Rukiah. Aduhai kasihan!
